Hello everyone. Asking this for a coworker, she moved on a dependent visa to visa so she never took IELTS. Her credentials were assessed by WES for job application category and her degree certificate is all in English-from JNTU Hyderabad, India and she got the Canadian equivalency for Bachelors in Engineering. But it looks like they don't say her language of instruction is English. I am managing her so I can say she has excellent language skills. Does she need to take the IELTS or CELPIP or she need a certificate from JNTU that her language of instruction is English or her current documents suffice for proof of language skills?

Take the test. Unless on the WES documents it specifically says that the medium of instruction was English. My spouse went through the same. There really isn't an easy way out unless you can get a letter from the institute.

My wife did her BTech from JNTU and for same reason, I didn't include her degree certificate for language. Instead used the expired celpip which was given by her during PR.

Your coworker can use her intermediate (12th) certificate to prove her English language skill.
