Hello, I just wrote my last name with n, I am already living in Canada and all my documents are with N, I think I change my name. In Englisn you don't use the Ñ.
Hope this work for you.

Hello Witchkid,
I have my BCPNP, and work permit, driver licence, application received, medicals request etc etc... I have never had problems with my name, but you can check some of the documents allow you to use 'ñ' like, imm0008 they ask you to write your name as your passport (allow you to write ñ), in the schedule A they ask you to write your name in native language (there you can use ñ). So just try, if you can't simply use 'N' instead. This have worked for me hopefully will work for you. Regards

I moved to Canada in 1999 and I have always used "n" instead of "ñ" for all my legal documents.

Even though Canada legally has both English and French as official languages, the provincial government of Ontario only recently started accomodating French characters like "é" for personal legal documents. English is the favoured language of communication.

There is no ñ in western alphabet so your ñ in your name will automatically replaced with letter n, I'm in Canada and once I got my PR card and has no Enye, I never had a problem. I am dual citizen now and my CAD passport has no ñ and my PH passport has ñ. Hope this helps.
