Hi has any paper applicant received fingerprints requirement? I am a paper applicant, my file has an update as below. But I haven't received any emails. Could any paper applicant share your experience? Did you receive it in the mail or email? Thank you!

We sent you a letter or email with instructions to submit your fingerprints.

Email is usually sent after the tracker is updated. Wait for 24-48 hours to receive the email.
In the email you will find:
- How much time you have to submit your fingerprints. Usually it is 90 days but for some other applicants I have seen a 30 days validity
- Location where this email needs to be sent. Usually FP is requested by IRCC Vancouver office(even if you an applicant from another province) but some other applicants have been requested to submit it to the Montreal office

Thank you guys! i finally received the email, a few days after the update. Phew~ I called RCMP in my region, it takes them 4 weeks to send criminal record results to RICC now. Yikes!

I know you're asking specifically about the person that replied to you however your question is like 'how long is a piece of string,' never easy to gauge however RCMP do have a specific turnaround period which is updated on their website.

Hi, the finger print email that asks me to do the fingerprint? That was like 7 days after the fingerprint reuqirement updated on my online file i think

did they give you 30 day or 90 day the 30 day (or 90 day) they give you to do the FP starts from the update date or from the day the email is received?

It was 90 days but I don't remember if the 90 days counts starting on the email date or update date, but either way, 90 days was more than enough in my case

thank you and sorry for asking too many questions but allow me one final question : are you outside or inside Canada ? i am confused as some people say they were given 30 days and some people say 90 days ? do you think it has to do with if they are inside or outside Canada?

I was inside canada and it was definitely 90 days. I passed the fingerprint check and the the file updated after 4 weeks from when i did the fingerprint. If it 30 days , i would panic!

someone told me that the 90 days were for 2021 but now it is 30 days! I am starting to get worried since my tracker were updated in 10 Jan and its now 14 Jan and i still didnot recieve anything and i am currently outside Canada so i will need time to get back (book ticket , travel...etc).

Can you help me and tell me the date in your finger prints instruction letter is the date you received it or the date in the tracker. (i am talking about the date mentioned in the letter , usually in the top left of the letter). I would really appreciate it if you could check it for me

If it is the date you received the letter that would buy me sometime at least
