Hi , As i got the fingerprint request recently , i am going towards RCMP accredited service providers to get it done this weekend probably .

Just wanted to process which is bit confusing - I go to the service provider , what in steps happens ? Here is the reference

What happens next:
 The agency sends the fingerprint form directly to the RCMP and advises the appropriate
citizenship office that the fingerprints have been forwarded.
 Once your fingerprints are received by the RCMP, the results are sent to the citizenship office
and processing of your application continues.
 Once your file has been finalized, no copy of your fingerprints is retained by either the
RCMP or Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Further it quotes

IMPORTANT:

For the fingerprint result to be sent to our office (IRCC), you
must authorize IRCC to receive said documents. Clearly state
to the fingerprinting agency that all original fingerprint
results must be sent to the following address:

Citizenship Program (Grants)
Case Processing Centre Sydney

P.O. Box12000
Sydney, NS
B1P 7C2

IMPORTANT – Please advise the RCMP or fingerprinting
agency that the “Contributor Individual Reference Number”
is required. This is your Citizenship application number

(beginning with “C”).

Question - Will the agency while sending the electronic fingerprints will also inform RCMP - that once RCMP provide results post scanning , RCMP should send this to above mentioned address along with Citizenship APP # reference ? if yes how they would do that to RCMP ?
Also how do I authorize results IRCC to receive said documents ?

Bit confusing to me , Hope someone clarifies ?

Hi just thought of asking. I am prepping for the exam(even though I have not got an invite for it yet) but just wondering if any of your friends shared any challenges they had in the exam? I just feel I won't be able to remember that many date and years

I was trying to find information on e-cas from experiences here.
'In Process' for ecas means that BG was initiated?
I don't have any updates on the tracker yet.

My wife had received email invitation for citizenship test but she had postponed the test for xyz reason.
CIC has again updated the status in online account and set the date for test starting yesterday but she didnt receive the test invite via email this time. Should she just log in and give the test from her online account? The link to the test is available in the online account.

Any suggestion?

Yes, you can access the test anytime within the test window from the test site (link in signature). No need to wait for the e-mail

Hello beautiful people. my ECAS got an update and it says "in process" so finally some one woke up and started working on my application because the detail says "we have started processing your application" but my tracker is exactly the same with last GU on Dec 16th. ECAS is not syncing properly with tracker because tracker is in progress since AOR. it took them 4 months just to update the status no wonder they are taking 24 months to process applications

Similarly for me, hopefully we will see the BG completed or another update in tracker in a few days.
