I just got off the phone with Ircc. The wait is frustrating. I was told I'm the queue for oath ceremony. Every has been marked complete on my profile is October 20, 2022. Vancouver office sucks I'm so tired of waiting

Wow.. this is beyond me... Funny part is for the vast majority of the Vancouver applicants this seems to be the case. Whats wrong with these people?

It's been 3 months (almost) and they haven't yet scheduled you for the oath? It's beyond my comprehension as to why they would let applications pile up when everything is complete and they have a chance to actually improve their on-time targets. I can imagine your frustration. On the bright side, at least you have everything else done except the oath. I have crossed 10 months already and have not even had the test yet (only bg check complete)

Hey guys,

I submitted two citizenship applications (online) at same time - one for me and one for my wife. All the steps were completed at the same time for both of us. My citizenship test and LPP were marked complete before her as there was some issue with her citizenship test but she got oath invitation on 21st Dec for 6th Feb and I am still waiting for the invitation. I know a lot of people are waiting for the oath invite but, considering our applications were moving at the same time, its strange that she got invite 3 weeks ago and I am still waiting. If anything, I should have received oath invitation before her. Is there anything I should be concerned about? Has anyone been in the same situation?

It was similar situation for me. I passed the test earlier and got path invite 50 Days after her.

Are you sure your file is stuck with Vancouver office? At ceremony stage usually file is transferred to the local provincial ircc office.

100%. The office told me that the Vancouver office had to contact me for oath ceremony.

The reason I am asking you is because I received email from WEST office too but our ceremony are held by Winnipeg Office. I am from Manitoba.
If you live in BC then likely you will hear back from Vancouver office.

I live in Vancouver BC. It's one of the slowest when it comes to issuing oath invites

We had good experience so far with the IRCC west (I believe it is Vancouver) for both online Cotizenship applications (mine & wife’s).
After reading some posts it looks like Winnipeg office is worst when it comes to scheduling oats!
We will have to find if the delay is from Vancouver office for our files or Winnipeg as we are not sure if the files have been transferred to Winnipeg office so we know who is handling our files
