Seek local MP's help and get the status. I had similar issue for my parents super visa.

Thanks! I am not aware of that process. So how do you initiate? like just look for local MP contact info on google and send them an email?
Also I submitted my parents application from Canada (parents are in India), is it then wise to contact local MP from Canada then?

yes, look up the Federal MP who represents your area (you can google this and there is a parliamentary website to look it up as well) and call his office to discuss the issue and ask them to check with IRCC as to what's happening. If they are helpful, they will use their direct line to inquire about the status and let you know.

Yes just google and you'll get their email ID and start the communication. My MP was kind enough and was quick to contact and get the root cause of my issue. All the best

Thanks Surya! I find it very frustrating that IRCC doesnt let the applicant know directly about anything being missed or need additionally, instead we have to go and take such complex route. If I may ask, what was the issue in your parents application? Any missing doc?

They had requested for remedicals for my dad but, we didn't receive any notification about it. My mom's PPR was sent while my dad's application stuck in Medical review. Our MP reached out and found out the remedicals request.
