my brother applied work permit outside Canada from UAE with LMIA

Here is his time line

Application submitted 4 December
Biometrics updated from previous visitor visa refusal file on 5 December
Review of edibility started: 28th December

Please share your time line for work permit applications here from Abu Dhabi office
Websites 30 weeks, I don't think its gonna take that long.

Around 6 months is not uncommon.

Already sent webform also n got reply still in process n waiting since 17 months

Apply gcms notes so you know what's you application status. Try sending them one more web form. If nothing then reapply Thats too long your application could be assigned to offline officer.

I think that’s just how slow the wp application process is so slow here in Abu Dhabi.

Applications as far as mid 2021 is what’s been worked on now for the little info have gathered on forum here.

Yes and I mail to Abu Dhabi embassy also the reply from Abu Dhabi embassy was “If a work permit application is not for employment in a critical sector, it will remain in queue for processing; however, it will not be prioritized.”
And also got mail from IRCC Canada it was like this “
Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We are happy to confirm that the information you provided was transferred to the responsible office which began processing your application in Canada. Rest assured that they will communicate with you if further information is required.

So these were the reply from them
