Hello everyone , im going to ask a quick question to get all the possible logical answers from you guys ..so we were protected person`s here with my wife .. we have 2 kids they`ve born here before we claim assylum . last year i`ve lost my father and couldnt go back to see him..and 5 days ago my wife`s father past away and again we couldnt go back to see our families and our father for the last time..so here`s my question , while we cant go back to our home country is it possible for us to get a supervisa to our mother`s to bring them here(they have 0 intensions to stay here even if they offer them a free citizenship right away)..i can be a sponsor for them , i have way more than enough stable income for the past 2 years .. i bought a house here , we have money on our bank accounts..my only fear is ; we got the pr with an assylum so that it might cause a rejection. if so many of you says that its not possible with my sponsorship what if one of my citizen friend with a stable income as me applies for a sponsorship for them to get a visa(ofcourse not a supervisa) .. we really need to see our families , we missed them , we lost our father`s , its so hard to let them go without seeing them ..what are the best possible options for us in this situation .. thank you in advance

You can apply super visa yourself since you are Permanent Resident. It is possible, done that and family member was recently approved for 10yrs. Only thing to overcome, which you need to include as short paragraph in your invitation letter is political and economic stability of your country of origin.

It can be very hard for families of protected people to have family members approved for TRVs because there is concern that they will also claim asylum in Canada. Are you PRs? The fact that both parents are now widows will also make it harder to get a supervisa because there are more concerns that they will want to remain in Canada. To have the best chance of approval,if you are already PRs, you should show that they have strong ties to their home country and aren’t in the same circumstances that lead you to apply for asylum.

our mothers are already over 60 years of age and they have no intensions by any chance to come and apply for any kind of status here beside of tourist .. if the people work in visa department for consulate not that much stupid they will understand the situation .. we are not terorists here nor our families .. i cant accept this tagging .. my brother or my mother or any of my friends they will not be able to come here to have fun and some sightseeing with me ?? why is that people tagging ? anyway its another discussion for sure but supervisa is most likely the best soolution right now . i have a guy who worked in canadian consulate in my country as visa officer , who is having a travel agency these days..i contacted to him and he told me that if your file can be done properly , theres no reason to get rejected..i will keep you posted..thanks for the help also ..

thats the idea which i was looking for actually .. the explanation with the invitation letter .. do you believe that it could work somehow ? because it was the first thing it came up tp my mind .. we are all human beings , they should feel or atleast try to understand how can a person feel after death of their father ..if i can add that letter it will be perfect .. we both are permanent residents , our kids born here .. we are not garbages here .. thank you again for your idea

It has nothing to do with you as a person it has to do with data. Many people who had extended family members come visit them in Canada due claim asylum or applied for H&C. Widows are also more likely not to return home and try to remain in Canada. Whether visas are approved or refused is partially based on historical data. Have parents who are retired make them at a higher risk of not wanting to return home unless they have very strong ties in their home country. For example other children living in the same country and especially same city, owning property would also help. Employment and dependent family are usually the strongest ties one can show so if you are a widow of a certain age and your children are now adults your ties to your home country are not as strong.

It is actually fairly common for family members of recent protected people who get TRVs to apply for asylum or apply to remain in Canada via other programs. It is also much more common for widows to apply to stay in Canada so visa officers aren’t stupid they are acted on historical data. That doesn’t mean that everyone is denied it still is dependent on the case and what evidence is presented. Everyone applying for a TRV will be evaluated based on their own situation , family in Canada, how the family came to Canada, the curewnt situation in their home country, their savings, their previous international travel history, etc, Canada is trying to approve people who they know are on,y trying to visit, have the financial ability to pay to travel to Canada (because there have been cases where people get stuck in Canada with no funds), etc. If you friend said that there should be no problem and that your mother’s application will be approved they aren’t being honest with you. First of all you don’t have to pay anyone to apply for a TRV you can apply by yourself and save your money. It is impossible to say whether your mother‘s application will be approved. It will primarily depends on how strong her ties are and the evidence you show proving she will return to her home country.
