Got V-1 visitor visa instead of PG-1 supervisa on new portal

Any update on this guys? Can anyone share what they found in GCMS notes? Its been a month that I applied for GCMS notes but haven't received them.

Under new portal i have already seen almost 10 cases this happened got visit visa instead of super visa. I selected all the right options even medical insurance was a mandatory document. But still got visit visa. I think GCMS is the way to go.

I applied super visa for my mother. Visa they issued is PG-1 which is super visa but only for 6 months. Passport is valid for another year after the expiry of visa. Any explanation or thoughts why it is only for 6 months?
Normally they issue the visa till the expiry date of passport.

There may have been an error so I would ask for reconsideration. If not, there is concern about her application and this is just a trial visit.

same thing happened here. I have applied on Oct 01, 2022 for my mother's super visa with 1 year medical insurance but last week we have received the passport with V-1 visa sticker !!! Really confused what to do now. Pls advise

Even my mom also faced the same issue. After receiving the the visit visa, I sent a web form asking to issue a super visa. They changed the application status as under processing and asked to get medical done. She passed medical almost two months back and since then there is no update. She wants to come here asap. Can anybody advise if she can travel on the visit visa that she was granted?
