Need some suggestions.
I applied for Centennial (Jan 2023 intake) Diploma and I'm still waiting for Canada visa approval. My classes start on 9th Jan.
Should I opt for the option to start the course online till I hear from CIC or just defer my semester start to the next intake.
PS- I have cleared my first year fees.

According to the updated IRCC guidelines, you can do up to 50% of your program online, from outside Canada up to Aug 31st 2023, and it will be counted for PGWP. But, I recommend you try to complete your entire program within Canada (in-person).

However, do this only if you're confident you'll get the study permit. Read up on Centennial college's refund policies. Defer immediately if you aren't sure (make sure you read up on the deferring guidelines and deadlines). You don't want to lose the fees you paid, in the worst-case scenario.

Defer to May 23 if your course is available.

Defer. Dont risk losing time and financial resources incase you dont get positive decision from the Immigration.

Yeah I am thinking of deferring mostly, just waiting till the last moment possible, maybe first week of Jan, as after that it will get too close to the deadline for deferring.
Since I have a bit more time left, I am counting on receiving the Permit before or around when classes start, so that meanwhile I can submit it and attend classes online.
