I have been studied in Tianjin/China for more than 6 months in 2018. Now I am in Canada and will apply to pr. Immigration is asking to obtain Police Certificate (Certificate of No Criminal Convictions (issued by the local police station and Public Security Bureau [PSB] office).

It is technically impossible for me to go china and get the certificate. Online there are bunch of local agencies doing this business. There many of them but I do not know how trustable they are and I don’t want to be scammed. Are there anybody who knows local trustable agencies? so that I can authorize them to obtain the certificate on my behalf? I contacted to some of them but they do not even tell me their quotations unless I send them all my scanned documents including passport which makes me feel suspicious. any help is appreciated since it seems it is going to be a big head ache for me...

Thank for all your answers

Check this link on how to apply for PCC outside China
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...cal-police/police-certificates/how/china.html

Looks like OP will need to find a representative (paid or not paid) to get the PCC done on their behalf.

It's not impossible to go to China right now, although you would need to get preflight test, mandatory hotel quarantine and undergo tests.

It is not because of restrictions I am just not able to travel and need someone or some company to do it on my behalf but I do not know how can I find reliable ones I checked consulate website in case they have a kind of accredited companies list but no I couldn't find. I hope I can find

Do you have any friends or relatives who can help you?

No :( Nobody is there and I need authorize somebody to do paperwork's on behalf of me. But nobody is there. So I heard there are some companies doing it but do not know they are trustable or not because it is very easy to get scammed...

Hi fohu44,
Is there any news for your Chinese police certificate? I heard you can also send IRCC an LOE asking for the PCC waiving if it’s not possible to get one.

Please keep me posted, any information would be appreciated.

Thank you

Hello I have just got my certificate. I have contacted one of my classmate and authorized him to be able to get the certificate on behalf of me. This authorization was very simple he send me a template I have just signed it and send back to him. It took about 3 weeks to get the certificate after applying. I am still waiting the original documents to arrive but I got the scanned copy so It should be ok. The only thing is they do not stamp the english translation part. There is just a reference number on that I hope IRCC will accept.

Fohu, it's great that you've got your Chinese police certificate.

I also lived in Beijing for more than 6 months and therefore I will need to send my friend (who is In Beijing) a signed notarised authorisation letter. Can you please tell me how you did that or send me the template of the letter to my email: maxshabal@gmail.com ? I would be extremely grateful.

Hi Fohu,
I am in the same case as yours. I need to get Chinese police verification certificate. When I contacted one of my colleague living there he is saying that the Police does not give certificate now a days.
If you could tell me how you did and the template of the letter or the certificate that would be very helpful. My email ID -saravanan.elumalai2@gmail.com

Each city has different regulations unfortunately It depends which city you lived. You supposed to have a Beichaka during your staying there you will need that document to apply I send it to my friend with my passport and visa details and if you have some friends there you need to authorize your friend with Notary office (Gongzheng Chu) and your friend can apply on behalf of you I havent filled any document just signed the paper from Notary Office scanned it and send it back. And then my friend took these papers from Notary went to police and applied police clearence certificate on behalf of me.

Hello,
My husband visited China for Power Plant Training and the duration of his stay was 5 months and 25 days which is less than 6 months. Now he has applied for Canadian PR. The immigration has requested the PCC from China but he doesn't live in China anymore. Please help what to do. I have heard about some agencies but I am not sure whether they are trustable or not.
