Hello..Can we use ielts certificate(done in 2011 )to provide proof for English language or is their time limit it should be within specific time period?..and should i use my 12th certificate or my diploma for the same reason?..plz reply thank you

Thank you for your response but for ielts they only accept General category mine is Academic..it also says i can upload my diploma or post secondary but when i try to upload their is no option for uploading certificate from outside country..i will try to attach a screenshot of their options

For immigration purposes (i.e. PR/Citizenship) it is only general language test.
I have not filled applications online so I am not sure if there is a separate category to upload diploma/degree/transcript or not. But maybe you need to upload these under the language test category tab itself..
Be careful if your diploma/degree does not explicitly mentions the courses were conducted in English these certificates may not be accepted.
