I just tried submitting my application and... something weird happened. It did not take the money but the application is suddenly locked. When I log in, I can see that there are 3 days left to submit, but there is no link to continue with the application or to decline the invitation.

Can someone help? Is this known to happen?

The thing that saddens me is people from countries with quickly deteriorating economies save up for POF, then IRCC delays draws by two months and suddenly their savings are worth half as much because of inflation over that 2 year period. All of which could be eased at least a little with simple communication.

And let me be clear. This is NOT incompetence. This is malice. We know that all program draws being halted, then changing draw cycles etc was defined clearly before the mega CEC draw (we know this from the leaked memos). There aren't any memos, but it's safe to assume that they also had the instructions in writing before non PNP draws were halted for several months. They intentionally chose not to be transparent about it. I will not allow them the easy way out by calling them incompetent (even if they are).

Any changes they make now, they WILL NOT communicate. It would be monumentally stupid of us to think something was different this time around. Definition of insanity and all that...

Yeah, I am not expecting them to communicate. But it is so messed up on their side.

I wouldn't completely rule out incompetence, though. The glitches and horribly organized switch to new codes are incompetence. Incompetence doesn't exclude malice, though. It can be both at the same time.

Oh yeah haha. There's no excuse for the bad implementation, that's pure incompetence. I'm just saying the lack of transparency and bad communication is intentional. It's a feature, not a bug.

By last week I didnt mean yesterday ! These glitches have been there from last 10-15 days ago! So by people experience wanted to know any improvement have been done or no

I got my upfront Medicals done last year 24 Dec 2021, I also used the same Medical for my International Experience Canada (IEC) work permit application which was approved and said Medical exam passed July 11, 2022. Now I have used the same one for PR application and medical also got passed Oct 26 2022, given IRCC have not chosen me for the magical speed 4-6 weeks processing for PPR or ADR, any idea when my medicals will expire?

Do they expire 12 months after I get them done? or

12 months after I passed the Medical exam as per Application? If yes, will they consider the time it was passed for Work Permit or PR application?

Also

Should I get my medicals done shortly after 24 Dec 2022 or wait for the official request? The new medical cost isn't an issue, I just don't want any longer delay in application processing.

PR Card question:

Hi Guys,

I will move to Canada permanently in Jan 2023. During my soft landing Officer did not allow me give an address for the PR card. Now, what is the procedure to apply for the PR card after I move to Canada? Can the officers apply it at the border when I move permanently or should I apply by myself?
