Hi Everyone,

I have applied through the OINP Master graduate stream. Can anyone tell me what's the expected timelines right now for AOR?

Submitted my application on 7 March 2021 and was received at the Immigration office on 11th March 2021. People said that we usually get AOR or any confirmation from the immigration office within 3 months and if we don't then we should contact the office.

I haven't received any email from them. Can anyone please guide me on what should be my next steps? how should I contact them?

Yes, they accepted mine.
We did on January 27, 2022. We got MR onAugust 7, 2022.
It passed on November 15, 2022

BIL- Jan 4, 2021

Bio done- Jan 5, 2021.

File moved to Accra VO : Jan 26, 2021 (from gcms note)

Upfront Medical : Jan 27, 2022

ADR (from Etobicoke) : July 22, 2022

ADR submitted (pcc, pof, & Schedule A) : July 29, 2022

MR (for 3 out of 4): August 7, 2022
MR submitted: submitted the upfront medical for all 4.

PAL : November 9, 2022

Medical Passed : November 15, 2022.

PPR - November 23, 2022

Yes, they accepted mine.

So long as you do not do them too early in the process as medicals are valid for a year. We did not do upfront medicals.. Just before our PR was approved, my husband who lived outside Canada was sent another MR.

Question- Can I eligible for BOWP ? Or should I need to stick with employer specific work permit ?

If you have closed work permit and you got AOR for your Pr application, you can submit BOWP application. Make sure you attach copy of AOR with it . Also look at your nomination certificate . If there are no restrictions on your Nomination certificate you are eligible for BOWP . But if there are restrictions unfortunately you can’t apply for open work permit. You have to get Employer specific work permit. You employer have to submit job offer in employer portal and pay $230 fees and you have to include job offer number starting with A********* in work permit application. So it all depends on your nomination certificate.

Thanks my nomination certificate is restricted. But I already I submitted job offer number 2 year before I applied for WP based on PNP . Should I need to get again from employer? And do I need to get PNP nomination and support letter from province in later date ?? Please please reply
