PhD in India as work experience

I am in the 3rd year of a full time PhD program(Humanities) in India. I received Non net fellowship (Rs 8000 per month) for 2 years. Will this count as 2 years of work experience for FSW EE even if I was not a teaching/research assistant?

You can count it as long as skilled work under TEER/NOC system.

Thanks for replying. But there is some confusion regarding this. What would be the NOC for being a doctoral fellow or a PhD research scholar? Because NOC 4012 is for teaching/research assistants and 4011 is for professors and lectures.

You match duties, not your title, to the NOC.
