Sorry i am little confused , Why do we need to submit 2 Rep form ? last time when i submitted with electronic sig i submitted only one , I put my E-signature on page 2 and then My mom and Dad's signature ( Electronic) on last page , I thought we need to submit only one form .
Yes only one form and scan print only once. but our case is bit different .. my MIL is here for few days and FIL is on different country.. we need to fill and print (x1), sign (by one parent and sponsor) , and scan (x1). Send this via email to other parent . then they print (x2) .. sign and scan (x2). If both the parents are at the same place then you just need to print and scan once.

We received email explicitly asking for hand-written signatures so we did not use the fill and sign feature

Hello a couple of urgent questions that I would like to request some help on:

1. In the sponsorship interest form for grandparents/parents, which was picked in the lottery, we dont recall which parents name we put.
Does it matter whether we now use either parents name for the actual application?

Thank you.

Dear All,

I submitted the application for parents last year under PGP program as a sponsor. Today I have received an letter from CIC to correct this info. Did anyone of you received similiar letter from CIC?

This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on behalf of *** Goel and family (if applicable).

The sponsor must meet the Minimum Necessary Income (MNI) for each of the 3 consecutive taxation years immediately preceding the date of the sponsorship application, which is based on the Low Income Cut-offs (LICO) plus 30%. The MNI applies to residents of all provinces except Quebec, as per Regulation 133(1)(j)(i)(B) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations.

The MNI required for each financial assessment year is determined by the family size of the sponsor, co-signer (if applicable), and the principal applicant.

The sponsor’s family members (if applicable) would include the spouse or common-law partner, the sponsor’s dependent children or the sponsor’s spouse or common-law partner’s dependent children, and any dependent children of the listed dependent children.

The principal applicant’s family members (if applicable) would include the spouse or common-law partner and any dependent children from the current and/or previous relationships, whether they are coming to Canada or not.

Based on a family size of «7» persons, you have not demonstrated that you meet the required income to sponsor for one or more of the three consecutive taxation years immediately preceding the date of filing of the sponsorship application.

dependent(s) under the Parents and Grandparents sponsorship program as per Regulation 2 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations.

The client(s) below do not appear to meet the definition of a dependent. Name Relationship to Sponsor

Goel, **** Sibling

A Foreign National applying under the Parents and Grandparents sponsorship program must be either the sponsor’s parent(s) or grandparent(s). All the dependent family members whether accompanying the principal applicant to Canada or not must be declared on the application and be examined.

Please see below for the definition of a dependent child. Please check the box which best describes the family member(s) that you have listed in the table above:

□ The child is 22 years of age or older, and the biological or adopted child of the parent. The dependent child has depended substantially on the financial support of a parent since before the age of 22 and is unable to be financially self-supporting due to a physical or mental condition.

□ Above mentioned definitions do not apply

The dependent is 22 years of age or older and has not depended substantially on the financial support of the parent since before the age of 22 and does not have a physical or mental condition that prevents him/her to be financially self-supporting.

□ Above mentioned definitions do not apply

The dependent does not meet the definition of a dependent or a member of the family class as it relates to the Parents and Grandparents program.

If the applicant does not appear to meet the definition of a dependent, as per the definition above, please select the applicable box:

□ The dependent(s) do not meet the definition of a dependent child but I wish to include the dependent(s) and continue with the application for permanent residence.

□ The dependent(s) listed below do not meet the definition of a dependent child and I wish to remove them from my sponsorship application and continue with the application for permanent residence.

Name (Last, First) Relationship to Sponsor

Please sign, complete, and return this letter to our office within 30 days from the date of this letter.

If we do not receive a response within 30 days, we will proceed with the financial assessment of the sponsor’s application including all family members you have listed. This may result in you not meeting the MNI requirement.

Final verification on whether all dependents listed meet the definition of a member of the family class will be made by the visa office responsible for assessing the sponsor’s Parents and Grandparents application for permanent residence if you opted to proceed with the application for permanent residence if found ineligible to sponsor.

This letter is specific to you. Everyone would not have received it. It appears you included two sibilings as dependents in the application who do not meet the criteria to be classified as a dependent. How old were they when the application was received by IRCC? Are either of them married or common law?

Not sure what is your situation, but it seems you included child/children of parents being sponsored in the application, who are not eligible to be a dependent (like they are >22 years old without considering the corner cases). Seems like they need consent to remove those from the application. Such child/children do not need to be included in any form other than family information form.

Not sure what you are asking here.. you would know who you put in the intent form and offcourse they were your parents grand parents. Just guessing and putting the scenario bleow:

  1. If you submit intent to sponsor your parent and grandparents separately, and you do not remember which confirmation number belongs to which intent, then you shall raise webform to ask IRCC (please google to find the link to the webform)
  2. If you are asking the order of name (father first or mother first) on the intent form then it really does not matter
  3. If you are asking parent of yours or your spouse, then whoever received email shall sponsor his/her parents, and if applicable his/her/their dependent child,
For detail about whom shall you put as principal applicant and dependent spouse or who can be consider as dependent child, please refer to application guide. Best of luck!!

Hello everyone, hope you can help with the form 5768 about family size:

The year 2019, I got a divorced in July but we was separately over 2 years ago. On the tax income from the CRA it's said Divorced on the Marital status.
So on the family size should I count it at 1 or 2 people on the Family size column?

Thank you!

I just checked my email and I received one from CIC Mississauga asking for resubmitting 5406 form with full info within 30 days. It confirms VO starts working before application submit deadline Dec 24.

In this case, 5406 form was submitted from portal, if I do it again, how should I redo it and resend it? (they attached a link for sumbmitting) Can I send it by searching the e- form and fill a form and sign and save as PDF doc?

I received an email yesterday at 11.22 pm indicating missing documents.
One of which is asking about resume of the principal applicant. Although I submitted the one having all the information since the age of 18. I am not sure why it was not accepted.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
