Hi all,
In 2023, I have multiple professional & personal travel plans which may be over 2 weeks.
I read somewhere that ircc should be informed of such travel. My question is
1. Is it mandatory to inform? please note, while traveling overseas, I would still be maintaining a residential house in Canada. Paying mortgage, property tax, etc.
Also, i have ample buffer time to maintain pr status till 2026 and my pr card is good till 2027. As most of my travel would be to US, I will also be able to travel back in a short notice, if required.
2. As i would be traveling back and forth, i would still be able to check physical mails(if any sent to me) and respond on time. Moreover, I'll request neighbors to check mail every week.
3. Any experience of such situations that you could share?
Thanks!
