Hi everyone,

My bank is a virtual bank and it's refusing to sign the letter that I wrote and sent to them. They sent the 6 month transaction. What should I do?

As far as I'm aware no bank will sign anything you send to them. They will only issue whatever they can (differs from bank to bank). As then if they can issue any letter at all - for example some banks will just issue a very generic letter saying that you've been their client for X years and you're in good standing.
IRCC knows that many banks won't issue a letter that matches the format they require so just try to submit as many documents as possible (6 months of statements, any letter you can get from the bank, etc.) and write an explanation in your LoE.

As a side note - talking to different people at the same bank may give you different results - when I first went to my bank, I was told that they cannot write any letters and they can only give my stamped statements. I went again a few days later and spoke to a different person and he wrote a letter exactly in the format IRCC requests. It was a big UK bank, so you would think that they have very strict procedures but the guy have said that actually they often have quite a bit of flexibility.
I know you said your bank is online but I guess the same principle applies - try emailing/calling at different times so you speak to different support agents.
