I got an invitation for the PGP. I have confusion for the year 2019 income and got confused.

i was unemployed in the year 2019 for more than half year.
My 2019 Notice of assesment, line 15000 showed income is 48K. However when i am summing up T4s for the year 2019 while filling form 5758 E. its sum up to 25K.
i was unemployed in the year 2019 , can i include Employement insurance in the total income. I think in NOA for the year 2019 , CRA has included EI income.

Please advise?

Only the years 2020 and 2021 (years of Covid) can you include EI. See link. How many people are you sponsoring Including you, spouse and any children.

under the link you have provided says , that confuse me

subtract any income that must be excluded
-
  • regular Employment Insurance earnings (for 2018 and 2019 tax years)
Correct, you subtract that. Now you can apply and see what happens if your income for 2019 is not eligible. When you entered the pool in 2020, you were not eligible then. If you do, the application will be under review for years and you can’t re-enter the pool next year.

Hi everyone
Need little help about the photo upload, so we need to scan a physical photo and upload it or digital copy?
thanks in advance
You can upload a digital copy of the face, and a scanned copy with the face and back with detail as follows:

The back of one (1) photograph must:
bear the name and date of birth of the subject, as well as the name and complete address of the photography studio
bear the date the photograph was taken
the photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information. Stick-on labels are unacceptable

Hello All

I am applying for my parents pr application. I have query on the form IMM 1344 Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking

Do I need to sign the forms by hand and send the copy of the form to principal applicant. He will print, sign and scan the forms back to me

Or

I and Prinicipal applicant need to sign the forms electronically by typing the name in the signature column
Electronically sign and then validate it.

  • Complete and electronically sign the PDF form: Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM 1344)
    • This form must be completed and electronically signed by you (the principal applicant), the sponsor and the sponsors’ co-signer (if applicable). The original PDF document and barcodes must be uploaded to your online application. Make sure you validate the form and generate the barcodes prior to uploading the form.

If you deduct the EI Premiums and the cut-off does not match, it is very unlikely that IRCC will accept that income for the year 2019. Hence you will not qualify the Income eligibility. That's the first step IRCC is going to validate the sponsor for.

Hi, I am filling out the imm0008 form and I am confused about the dependants. On dependants page , It says “You must provide details about each of your family members, whether they will come with you to Canada or not. You must list all your children even if they are already permanent residents or citizens of canada” . Do I need to fill this imm0008 for me as well? I am no longer a dependant and I am the one who’s sponsoring my parents.
You don't fill out that section if you are not dependent.

Guys,

I think i might have made a mistake in my dads first name while submitting the interest to sponsor form. I dont have a copy of the 2020 interest form i submitted. I have one interest form i submitted in 2018. Is there a way i can get it from IRCC ? How do i make the correction of dads first name?

N
How do you know that you made a mistake?

Let's say you do, do you know the first name used in the interest form?

If you know that, I believe you can attach the letter of explanation for the name used in mistake and the correct name with identity documents.

Not sure if you can pull up that information now.

Thats a very good question. First name should be good and used the correct one.

Reason is my dad did not use one last name in the old passport and he started using it recently. So i have no idea whether i used the correct full name as per his current passport (or) did i use the old last name as i had only his old passport in hand at that time?
