Hi,

I'm on temp work permit in canda. I had previously charged with criminal charge and later withdrawn with peace bond which expiring soon. My question is would I be allowed to re-enter Canada after my peace bond expiry or is my passport still considered as flagged at that point ?

Any opinions appreciated.

Hey Ivric
I hope you are doing well.
I wanted to know if travel to india is possible during an active peace bond?
Will CBSA stop you while returning back?
In this case will a person with withdrawn charge for assault be able to apply for U.S tourist visa and travel to U.S without any issues?
What are the documents you need to provide at CBSA with an expired peace bond?
Please let me know

Hey Syclla
Thank you for replying.
A criminal lawyer is already hired.
I was just trying to know if anyone has a personal experience of crossing border with active peace bond or withdrawn charges.

I'm not sure if traveling to India is possible, I was able to travel and return after the peace bond had expired. Although I wouldn't recommend traveling to the US until RCMP removes your fingerprints. In any case, do check with an immigration lawyer for Canada and US.

Hello Ivric
Thanks for your reply
Sure will consult an immigration lawyer for U.S and Canada
I have a last question hope you don’t mind
Will further inspections be done by CBSA after the peace bond is expired or will a document court document with case disposition stating it’s expired be fine?

Nope, just carry PB and case disposition along with you which should be fine.
