PCC validity

Hello,

My wife and I had been in the UK for a year and half, before we moved to Canada as Temporary Residents. I had back then got the UK PCC(Police Clearance) for myself and my wife. The certificate is dated for 16/11/2021. However, due to the delay in visa processing we had to stay in the UK for 4 more months, that is until 13/03/2022. Do I need to get a new PCC for UK if I plan to apply for PR?

Yes, you would need to get a new PCC as the one you currently have was not issued after you left UK.

Thanks. Applied for a new one. Apparently, there is a delay in shipping with Royal Mail on strike (partially)
