Is anyone with similar status here? Any idea if this is normal?
Application: Paper (Family of 2)
Delivered: Jan 10, 2022
AOR: March 1, 2022
Test Status Marked Complete: May 17, 2022
Everything else is in progress with no update ever since. Only one ghost update on Oct 7 similar to everyone else around that date which was for a system update I believe.
Any thoughts?
What is your location?

Yes. Almost same. Kitchener office. Not sure what's wrong. We've seen two updates Oct 22 and 25th. But nothing updated in the tracker.

Don’t expect seeing an update before mid December. I guess you may be invited for oath in January 2023. Earlier than this is not possible

From April 1, 2022, to September 30, 2022, Canada has welcomed approximately 180,000 new citizens, compared to about 59,000 in the same period last year. IRCC plans to welcome 300,000 new citizens in the 22/23 FY. This means they will only approve 120,000 new citizens between October 2022 and Mar 2023. In general IRCC will stop working between December 17, 2022 and Jan 15, 2023.

The chances are bleak. Even if you get a invite for oath today, the ceremony date will be atleast 4 weeks away. Then you will have to ask for expedite shipping on certificate and then apply for urgent processing on passport. All of this depends on your reason for urgency. Spending Vaca time on USA will not be accepted as one, IMO. DO remember they will ask you to cut your PR card too. December is usually slow on both sides of borders. It is a catch 22 situation.

I am a Jan applicant and waiting since July (when i completed the citizenship test) for an update . Separately, I have a US visa appointment in December and my India passport expires May 2023 (less than 6 months). Anyone knows if this is an issue. Since US tourist visa technically transfers to new passports, am hoping it should be okay but wanted to know if someone has any experience of this.
