PCC for PGP program

Hello All,

My parent (Mother) is under process of PGP. Done with medical today. I sponsored only my mother as my father has issues with his passport and couldn't get it. I received medicals for my Mother (Applicant), Father and brother as well. even though they are not travelling to Canada. I am concerned with PCC request from CIC, whether my father needs PCC as well? as it's not possible to get PCC for him and he don't have valid passport. So in my case what should i do if CIC asks for PCC for my father
as well?

Any suggestions please. will CIC ask PCC for all family members even though not accompany ?

It will be mandatory for your father to provide a PCC.

Non-accompanying family members must provide PCCs. This includes your father and any non-accompanying sibilings who are under 22 years old.

Your mother's applcation cannot be approved without your father providing a PCC.

Your father and any siblings under 22 must also take and pass the medical.

As long as your parents are still married. Both need to pass medical, police and security (same for dependents under 22 years old).
This is regardless if they are accompanying or not. It is necessary because they could be sponosred by your mother once she got PR. So all memebrs of her immediate family (spouse and dependent children) need to pass all the checks.
