Order GCMS notes but you have a BSC in hotel management and taking a lesser program at the college level and in the same field. You have no education progression nor career progression to justify the costs of a diploma program. You also have only a couple of years of work experience and is it even in hotel management?

My name is ####b and I am putting at your behest this application for your due consideration regarding my request to study in the Seneca College for the Global Hospitality Operations Management Program. Elaborating upon my previous educational qualifications, I have completed the Bachelor of Hotel and Hospitality Management program in from Indra Gandhi Open University in 2018 with 65% marks. Recently, I have also given an English Proficiency Exam IELTS in which I have achieved an overall score of 7.0 with not less than 6.0 in each module. After Bachelors in Hotel management gave I joined Tata Starbucks in 2019. In this job I was part of operations function team. Right now I am working with Chai point where my job duties include execution of store operations. During these jobs I developed some skills like customer service, Menu memorization, upselling techniques, wastage control and beverage preparation etc. and also realized my interest in operations management in Hospitality Industry. I have had some very incredible experience in the past few years. From changing the companies I have worked for to changing the designations and turning my life around with all the success in my job. Now that I have reached to a level which has come to saturation point, I am intending to make more progress in my career. This progress cannot be done without gaining extra knowledge with formal education as the jobs and experience I have limitation. Although I have studied some technical subject’s related operations but still I lack formal education in area of operations management which is responsible for converting materials and labour into goods and services as efficiently as possible to maximize the profit of an organization.

Apart from that as I have done Bachelor of Hotel and Hospitality Management, So this program is natural progression of studies for me. Coming from same education background and job experience my understanding of content in this program will help me to be successful in my study. This program also has optional CO-OP, which will add value to my education. Also this program act as a pathway, where I have an opportunity to earn a Global Hospitality Business Development MBA degree in one of the leading Hotel and Tourism Management schools in the world – IMI International Management Institute Switzerland in Luzern.
What I will learn with this program:
My reasoning for the selection of this particular course is driven by the need to transition into a more upscale career choice and for which I have opted out Global Hospitality Operations Management as the next step. This course of Global hospitality Operations Management at the Seneca College aims to impart career defining skills to the students of Hospitality Management Industry such as: - High Level of Customer Service, Project management skills, Decision making ,Teamwork, Flexibility, Patience, Attention to Detail, Problem-solving skills, Revenue management, Communication skills. The various disciplines that form the foundation of this program to impart holistic and world-centric learning are:-, Business Services Marketing, Global Communications, Data analytics, Digital marketing, Project management, Revenue management and Operations management. This shall help in aiding my suitability for employment in relevance to the forces of demand and supply. These subjects would help me in my quest to gain thorough information about the hospital Operations management on a global scale.

The campus of Seneca College is expansive in its resources and infrastructure as evident by the glowing reviews of alumni and current students while also offering for me personally my desired course of study. Later on digging deeper I found out some excellent job prospects in the Hospitality Management Industry in India such as: - Assistant manager – operations, Assistant manager – hotel, Banquet manager, Catering sales manager, Conference service manager, Assistant project manager, Assistant marketing manager, Customer experience manager, Manager of customer loyalty and retention. The average salary rests between $40,000 and $70,000 per year, with higher wages offered at the upper management levels. Restaurants such as The Bombay Canteen, Indian Accent, Olive Outub, Toast and Tonic, 1135 AD, Amethyst and hotels such as Oberoi, Taj Mahal Palace, Aman-I-Khas are top in India, are looking for ambitious individuals. The profitability of this industry was further highlighted by that the hotel industry in India is expected to reach a value of INR 1,210.87 Bn by the end of 2023, expanding at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13% during the 2018-2023 period. The Indian government has allowed 100% foreign direct investment (FDI) in tourism construction projects, development of hotels, resorts, and recreational facilities. This will act as a driving force for the development of new hotels across the country
These statistics further highlight the remarkable upward trajectory of hotel industry in the present and the future which align perfectly with my dreams of becoming a hospitality management professional in India. The fact that India has a population of more than 1.38 billion, the demand for services is huge here, people are starting their start-ups and established restaurants and hotels are flourishing rapidly is why the opportunities for enthusiasts such as me has also increased. The future for careers in culinary, hospitality and management is huge here. I am excited to start my career here in India, as soon as I complete my education.
In Conclusion, I would again like to recapitulate my reasons for picking up this course, college and country. I opted for this college due to its sound infrastructure and faculty along with really positive feedback. I finalised this country after getting to know about its foundational platform for students on how receptive and responsive it is. I have no intentions of extending my stay beyond the duration of my course here in Canada as I am a person who is strongly tied with my Family. Also, there is huge growth projected in the already booming travel and hospitality industry which are both an interlinked phenomenon. So, I am pretty serious about returning back to India after the completion of this program. I would also like to point out that my family is fully capable of financing my education without any sort of trouble as I come from a financially sound family. The cost of my program and living in Canada is also economically manageable for me. They are fully supportive of my decision to pursue my education from a reputed international institution to gain much needed exposure as the educational system of Canada is world renowned for the quality it has to offer. Finally, I would like to request the visa authorities to pay attention to my application as my whole career is centred on this decision to study internationally and return back home to be a top notch professional and be amongst my family. I shall be really grateful if given the chance to pursue my dream.
