Hello everybody,

Our PR card renewal application (from September 12th) has been approved today. See the message below.
We mailed your permanent resident card to you. Your card can take up to six weeks to arrive.
Glad they approved and mailed it relatively quickly, but up to 6 weeks to arrive in the mail?!! You'd think they had someone walking across the country to deliver these cards...

I'm calling IRCC call center for a couple of days and can never talk to an agent. Does anybody know why? What time is the best to call them to be able to speak to an agent?

I heard that if you call first thing in the morning EST (like 8:30 AM) or 3:30 PM EST, you are more likely to be able to reach an agent.

I suggest you not to enter your UCI number when asked by automated machine. This way more chances for you to get connected with agent after waiting of 10 mins or 20 mins or 30 mins.

Ours was all completed after the test in 30 days , posted as decision made but when i email them they reverted to in process. Until now i am waiting patiently and felt so bad for those who are waiting and to see people who just applied after 6 months or so having oath.

Hey, what is your experience of the time between the date of decision made and the date of citizenship ceremony? Montreal office here.
I know it's mostly random but if you can share your timeline for Montreal office, that would be great!
