Questions about transcript for foreign degrees and FBI police certificate

Hello,

I recently received my ITA for CEC and I am in the process of gathering all of the required documents for my PR application.

For the police certificate: I need to upload a police certificate from the US. The requirement for uploading the police certificate is that it needs to be a color-scanned version. However, US police certificate (from FBI) is originally black and white. What should I do to show that it is indeed scanned in color mode? Another question is when I received my US police certificate, I received both physical and digital copies, which are exactly identical to each other. Will the digital copy be accepted by IRCC or it must be a scan from the physical copy?

For the proof of education: I have an assessment from WES and my diploma. I wonder if these two documents are enough for proof of education document or do I also need my transcript?

If transcript is an absolute requirement, I have a secured digital version of my official transcript. I wonder if IRCC will accept it if I print it out and then scan it again /or I just need to remove its security by using some PDF software before uploading it directly?

Some comments for you:

1. For the FBI certificate the digital copy is fine. I have decided to go ahead and scan the physical copy (with cover pages) so there's no issues with IRCC accepting it.

2. WES Assessment and Degree certificate is fine but I would include the transcript as well if you have an official one from your University. Should be fine if you remove the security and scan it back in!

I asked my University to stamp it (IRCC love stamps haha) but not necessary.

Yes you can remove the digital security and upload with your certificate and other documents.

In fact I had to do the same as my transcript had a password which I removed to combine my pdf files.
