Good day!
My commonlaw partner and i are in the process for Canada. And i hava an elligitimate daughter with my ex which will be included in our PR application. All she need is a medical exam, passport and birth certificate. Problem is my lastname originally has an "ñ" which i removed recently. My daughter still has the "ñ" both in her passport and bc. She uses my lastname even me and my ex are not married. Im worried we could have problems with our application. Theres not enough time for me to change the one letter that is mispelled.

It would be much better if it had the same spelling but if you don’t have time to change what can you do. You’ll be contacted if it is a serious issue that needs to be changed before approval. Since it isn’t a full letter difference you might be fine.
