I got the invitation, so I start to fill in the application form now. I filled up the sponsor form in fall 2020, no luck on Jan 2021 and Sep 2021 lottery, This year finally got it.

Spread my good luck to anyone who is still waiting, hope they get the invitation email soon.

I DIY online for it now as I applied my PR before, not using any agencies. Anyone also DIY, hopefully we can share some thoughts to help each other.

Minimal chances that they will open again in early 2023 but I guess you never know. They invited 23k applicants for 15k so should be able to accept at least 15k.

So you are sponsoring your parents and you are senior citizens? I think sponsor's birth certificate is needed to proof relationship to parents.
Since you have a lawyer, I think he should provide you those answers.
