Does one year undergraduate diploma in any field count along with undergraduate degree?

Hi, I'm an undergraduate student waiting for final result to apply for express entry. Meanwhile would like to take a diploma for additional points. Does an undergraduate diploma in any field along with undergraduate degree count ?

So you are in Canada? Or need ECA for degree? A diploma is not the same as a degree but the field doesn’t matter

So you will need an ECA for your degree. You get more points for a 3 year or more degree. Your points may not be high enough with an undergrad. Max out your IELTS.
