URGENT HELP NEEDED ABOUT CANADIAN OATH CEREMONY DURATION

Hi,
I have to sit for my Canadian citizenship Oath ceremony on Tuesday online, Did anyone took the online oath recently? I will really appreciate if some one can tell me how long does this ceremony takes? My friend says 2.5 hours. Is it really that long. Any help would be greatly appreciated, TIA
 
I was done in 1.5 hours ( early july 2022 ) . Really depends on number of people & the rest of the process where agents go one by one with all participants where they make sure you cut your PR card. Plus if anyone has doubts / questions about anything.

It is 2 hours
 
Thank you for the info@phoenix232. Is there will be only agent for all people? was wondering how many people actually participates in a ceremony? my sear number is 166.

You have to attend the oath so not sure what you mean by participating in the ceremony. Although different because most ceremonies are still virtual many make this a celebration with family and/or friends. Most take the day off of work or at least half day.

Not to sure what is URGENT about this query but as others have said....can last 90mins to 2.5hrs dependent on how many people are in the ceremony

Yeah I would plan for 2.5-3 hours to be safe. Mine on Sept 14 was a bit over 2 hours. It does depend on the number of people in the ceremony, as well as how many people need help with technical issues or whatever.

at the time I had the ceremony there were about 120. Multiple agents would be there as they need to wrap this up quickly.. atleast keep 2.5 hours with you just to be safe.
 
In my ceremony that lasted 2 hours and a few minutes, we were 170+ and a few agents, forget exactly how many
