I wonder how it works for people who submitted that and leave the country after. Guess they won't meet 2021 and maintain the on going income requirement during the application time in 2022 ad 2023 if so.Announced today…sending out invitations to only those from 2020 pool so no new profiles.

Due to the number of interest to sponsor forms remaining in the pool of submissions from 2020, IRCC will send invitations to apply to randomly selected potential sponsors from that pool instead of opening a new interest to sponsor form.
People still need to be living in Canada and meet LICO for 2021. The press release also states - This week, IRCC will begin sending invitations to apply to 23,100 interested potential sponsors—enough to make sure we receive our goal of 15,000 applications.I wonder how it works for people who submitted that and leave the country after. Guess they won't meet 2021 and maintain the on going income requirement during the application time in 2022 ad 2023 if so.
But my guess is that they will still apply. Well, I guess they are going to make some changes in 2023?! They cannot keep doing that from 1 year of interest to apply pool.
PGP 2022 just opened today. IRCC will start sending out invitations today and will continue doing so for the next 2 weeks. They have again decided to go ahead with the lottery system. They will randomly choose around 23,000 applicants from the 2020 pool of applicants. Can anyone tell me when PGP 2022 is going to reopen ??
i think this is a question for IRCC.. i doubt anyone from here will be able to accurately confirm anything to you..So here is my situation. I submitted an interest to sponsor form in 2020. I got the Invite in Jan 2021. However I realized I shouldn't have submitted in the first place because I did not meet the LICO cut off for 2018 (I miscalculated my parents as 2 people, while you need to calculate them as 3 including yourself).
So I ended up not responding to the invite because I didn't qualify in the first place. Now since they are sticking to the 2020 pool, does that mean I wont be considered in the lottery for 2022? I am asking since they reduced the LICO limit now, so it seems unfair that I didn't qualify in 2021 but wont be invited now because I was already invited in Jan 2021?
Maybe I am misunderstanding something here.
