So her eligibility did not start until September 28th. Was the background check started on Sept 28 or before
The background usually start long time and put down. Since everything is now updated. It says biometrics completed on March 25 and background also completed on March 25. They weren't looking on her apicatuon at all. It seem like they legit took a day to process it.
I would send that way for real. But visitors visa easy to process like work permit. It usually isn’t so long like PR etc. I am happy for you. You must be excited.

Yup I just think they legit stopped.processing them and now restarted. When was the last time you logged in and saw the change for your sis?
Wednesday and that’s how I knew eligibility started. Can’t remember when I logged in before that so it could have started before Wednesday

Tavia. Where did your mom submit her passport? At the VAC office where biometrics was done?

Applied for my Visitors Visa on April 22. Heard nothing. Sent an email at the end of August. Got a response to fill out a web form which I did and they replied to that on September 16 asking me to send back some more detailed information about my application. I sent my application form, and some supporting documents that I had previously submitted. On October 5, I got an email for my passport, dropped it off at the VAC in Kingston on Oct 6, and saw approved on my account today October 7.
