Hi All,

I was in UAE and applied for my PR, then I landed in Canada in Aug 2018 and went back to UAE in Sep 2018. Returned to Canada in Jun 2019. Now I know I have stayed out of Canada for more than 183 days in a row in a single country. Do I need to provide PCC from UAE?

Or I can state that "Lived in the country of origin immediately prior to getting PR"

Yes you will require a new PCC..
Dubai PCC is straight forward you can apply via the Dubai Police app... I hope you have the EiD# handy (even if it is expired/cancelled)

Thank you for your response. I am trying on MOI website but it is not accepting my payment of credit or debit card issued in Canada. I tried with someone in UAE too for payment doesn't work..Is it through MOI or Dubai police website

I used Dubai Police website to request for PCC but that was in 2018. Paid using TD bank CC, it worked without any issues
