Hi Friends, I have also applied for my parents extension of stay before the expiration of authorized stay but under 30 days. So my questions are:

1. Will there be any red flags of overstay in future?

2. What to do if they want to leave Canada while waiting for the extension decision?

If they leave the country, then the extension is no longer required. An extension is to continue to stay in Canada.
