I would sincerely highly appreciate it if someone gives an opinion on this. I applied for an LMIA-exempt work permit visa on in early 2022. I completed all three conditions of the GSS visa including I am outside Canada, have NOC A, and my employer deposited the employer compliance fee. However, once a few months passed and no information received, I asked for GCMS notes. In the notes, one bothering thing was that at the start of my file processing phase my file was transferred from Canada to UAE and the officer wrote the reason like "Application transferred to the mission as the client is overseas and not eligible for in Canada processing". Now this is beyond my comprehension as being outside Canada is one of the conditions to apply under GSS category. I sent webforms to both Canada as well as to UAE but still no response regarding why my file was transferred. Now its been over 8 months and still no news. Could someone mention why my file could have been transferred and is there anything that can be done about it. Is there any email or phone number I can use to point out this issue (or may be a mistake) and ask them to transfer my file back to Canada?
