It’s been 3 months since I applied for WP now. So it means I shall get by end of next month?

31 Dec 2022( It is OPW that was got instead WP extension). Also, I received a letter from IRCC that it will be extended automatically when it expires. The reason (as they mentioned in this letter) is that it can take longer to receive a decision for my TR to PR than my OPW expires.
After getting aor on may 31 and uploading docs asked in adr on June 3 , no update so far. Status just reflects we are reviewing your documents . Checked with mp and he confirm there is not a single step movement from June 3 and emphasizing the fact that there is no timeline defined for this program………..seriously hopeless situation…
I havent been able to login to my ircc the last couple weeks so I pid $5 for the notes, how long does it take to get a response?
But if we look at your case, it wasn't still that long time from AOR ~ 6 months and less than a year from your initial submission. Most of us applied in May/June. Still haven't heard major updates yet.
It can take from 1-3 months if requested from IRCC and 1 month if requested from CBSA. But notes will be sent to your email address, not in your online gckey
I think one year is the maximum time based on the posted timelines with avg. processing ~6-7 months.
I would suggest checking directly with IRCC client support over the phone(1888-242-2100) or CBSA (1-800-461-9999/CBSA-AFSC.CONTACT@cbsa-afsc.gc.ca) as no one here can check the status of your ETA.
I had the same problem before I traveled to my home country. I just applied to a new ETA while in Canada and used it to travel, didn't have any issues coming back. Just make sure your new ETA is valid using the website that you cited
Received cbsa notes today, My security due date is jan 14th 2023. But application due date was mentioned by march 19th, 2022 . They said partial fingerprints as left thumb had scar. But the agent at service canada still taken my fingerprints n submitted. In my whole life i never travelled anywhere except canada nor comitted any crime and have doctorate in Pharmacy 6 years n masters in health science 2 years. I wonder do i really deserve this? Nrt is mentioned near biometrics which is called no reportable trace found. 5years of my marriage completes next january and yet didnt see nor lived with my spouse from past 5 years. I have worked during worst n beginning time of Covid crisis in essential job by sacrificing my life family. That's so sad. I've been through the same and I always wondered why all of my efforts are getting answered like this. Besides being apart from the spouse is something that's never gonna get easier, it's the same damn hard every single day. I hope your file gets finalized soon Lily.
Regarding your biometrics, if you see NRT next to it in the CBSA report, it means that you've passed it. Although there was a scar on the thumb, they were able to do the check with no issue.
I knew from beginning they ll postpone to next year. N also Thank u so much for guiding us in process of obtaining cbsa notes which was quite helpful n obtained in less than 20 days. Gcms notes never arrived despite applying twice. I really wish goodluck for everyone n myself will see next year..
