Hi, I am very confused so any help is greatly appreciated.
Sept 1: Received my eCOPR
Sept 7: Uploaded photo in online PR Portal: https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login
The photo is still in review and the status is "In Review with IRCC"
So, I have PR status, but no PR card yet.
Sept 27: Need to leave for India
I understand, if I don't have PR card, I need to apply for PRTD to return/enter Canada
Now, for India, there are 2 ways to apply:
1. Using PR Portal: https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login - But here, I am unable to apply for PRTD since my application is still in review.
Question: Should I create a new account using a DIFFERENT email id to apply for PRTD? My understanding is that we should use only one email in PR processes.
2. Using Email - sending application form with scanned documents: The issue with this approach is that Document Checklist is asking for "Residency Obligation" of 730 days that need to be met after I became a PR - So I don't know if this applies to me since I became PR just on Sept 1.
Need help on how can I go about my PRTD application given the above two options and their requirements/limitations.
Thanks so much in advance!
