You're right, tourist visa went from 2 weeks, to 2 months and now it's more than 4 months. I believe it's around 7 months.
Ridiculous. You're right, tourist visa went from 2 weeks, to 2 months and now it's more than 4 months. I believe it's around 7 months.
That is upsetting in so many levels, but as a after July 2022 applicant, I take a little comfort in what minister Sean Fraser has mentioned before, that the majority of the applications will be processed within the standard 6-month time. We've been waiting for eligibility to be clear for almost 4 months. Other Rome applicants have been waiting for 5 months. No update so far for anyone. It's very weird, considering the trends with the Rome VO. They've barely issued any PPR since April. Maybe they're working on the Ukrainian refugees...
6 month time for permanent residence ? That's wishful thinking on his part , the backlog is still massive as it is.That is upsetting in so many levels, but as a after July 2022 applicant, I take a little comfort in what minister Sean Fraser has mentioned before, that the majority of the applications will be processed within the standard 6-month time.
I'm waiting here since April for eligibility and nothing. Regarding tourist visa , my friend has been waiting for 5 months , his parents are in Italy and still nothing. Rome either is understaffed, or they're handling ukrainians and we are falling on the back burner. We've been waiting for eligibility to be clear for almost 4 months. Or both. What’s more ridiculous is that prior applications (Aug 21) got their PPRs 2 months after AOR2. I have no idea what happened in Rome from April onwardsI'm waiting here since April for eligibility and nothing. My timeline is same as yours but 1 month ahead, they received it november 22nd, 2021Or both. What’s more ridiculous is that prior applications (Aug 21) got their PPRs 2 months after AOR2. I have no idea what happened in Rome from April onwards
Yeah, so far you're the only one who's an EE applicant in Rome hahaAre all of you guys being sponsored by a spouse here ?
Yes. This is a discussion under Family Sponsorship. So most would be either sponsored by a spouse or an adult child (parents grandparents sponsorship). Are all of you guys being sponsored by a spouse here ?
This is the only active thread for Rome Visa Office, so I have nowhere else to go.Yes. This is a discussion under Family Sponsorship. So most would be either sponsored by a spouse or an adult child (parents grandparents sponsorship).
You may have better luck to post and find similar discussion in the EE section.
Don’t worry you can hang out here. I have a suspicion we all go through the same officers anyways. Any input helps. Rome is a mysteryThis is the only active thread for Rome Visa Office, so I have nowhere else to go.
