Well I have some news. End of August we received our file from KVO. Was very difficult to read as a lot was omitted from our interview. Some of my answers don't even make sense anymore. From reading it, I see the agent was twisting things around to make his narrative make sense. Also, my pregnancy was mentioned in there 3 times so very interesting how IRCC told CBC no proof of it was received.

They ended up contacting my consultant and we are doing our ADR tomorrow afternoon. I really hope things work out for us. My due date is 5 weeks away and I just want to know my husband is on his way to being here with me.

I really hope you win your appeal. This whole experience and reading what others have gone through just makes me realize they do not care one bit about family reunification. We received our file and the agent omitted so much of what I said and wrote things that do not make sense. It just feels like a very corrupt system.

It's a corrupt system indeed. I knew they were going to look into ur file as fast as they can since you story was published online to expose them. I pray God help us through these tough times. Stay bless and keep the faith. Any officer who caused you pains with the refusal to have ur husband with you will surely reap a huge Blow that they cannot handle it until they lose it.

Do you have lawyer? It’s time to study what went wrong and why officer have suspicious? Prepare any evidence that support your application and you need to submit before hearing.

Thank you for Information Bril23. i do have councilor and when i appealed we did submitted few documents, also send few documents (Recent Trip with my Husband) Sep first week for now Lawyer said we dont need to send anything & wait for Hearing date. usually how long it takes for Hearing date? i mean with 1-2 week do IAD provide Hearing date which is month out or so?

That’s good that you have lawyer.
Hearing may take 2-4 months it depends which part of Canada you’re appealing from sometimes Western Canada ( Vanc, Calg, YEG) hearing may not take long compare to Eastern Canada. If IAD think your case strong and have enough evidence you may get ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) it’s mini hearing to settle your case.
Do you mind sharing which Visa Officer refused your case and the reason why they refused you?
