Hello, anyone here applied for a supervisa for their parents after they had a failed refugee claim? My parents were refused around 10 years ago and had to leave canada. They left when they were told and havent tried applying for a visa since. I really want them to come visit me but im not sure if I should even try

I intend to apply for Super Visa for my parents. Is the Super Visa stamped on the passport ? Her passport is expiring in 3years so will that have effect on the validity of the Super Visa or will it be issued for 10 years irrespectively ?

I don't see a problem in you applying for their Super Visa considering the purpose of SV is to get families together. The refugee claim was 10 years ago and considering they were not banned for life from entering Canada, you can always give it a go.

Please can someone confirm if they get an email for a one time verification code each time they log into their IRCC new portal account, or is it just me?

Hi Everyone, I've applied for supervisa for my parents in Aug 2021 (~1.2 yrs back). Still no decision. Checked with the MP of my area, some consultants in India, I'm getting mixed reviews if I should re apply or wait for the decision on this application. Their medical is passed, biometrics is done( June 2022), eligibility in review for a long time.

Any suggestions?

Hi all
I want to apply for super visa for my mother in law next year. Right now i am on maternity leave . Can maternity income be counted for the annual income or not? Can anyone pleasr clear it for me.
