Hi everyone,

Today I attend the Oath ceremony online and now I`m a Canadian citizen!

I was allowed to take the Oath outside of Canada. Yes, CIC approved my request and rescheduled new Oath date. So, it is possible in special cases.

5 months after passing my test, i get requested for an interview ‍ I did sent my passport pages 3 months ago.
Maybe because i’ve been out if the country many times?
i have 1800ish days and my PR renewal even got accepted but they seem to want to know more?

should i translate the new stamps as well? Or just take the translation of the ones from the period of tine for which I’m applying?

No updates yet, Only response I received lately was that I'm in waiting list for Oath ceremony and no estimated time line as if now.

How long does it take to get scheduled for the Oath ceremony after getting everything completed?

Hi everyone! my portal items all show completed now, except for the citizenship ceremony. I noticed this almost 2 weeks ago, and although I see a ceremony date on the portal for next week, I still haven’t received the email with details / time / URL.

does anyone know when one usually receives that? I’m wondering if I should contact them now, or wait only until 2-3 days before the date shown in the portal?
