My wife was on SOWP and she had applied for the extension right after my study permit extension but we haven't got any decision on her work permit extension yet. I have received the completion letter from the college and my study permit expires in 2 months. I'm now confused. Can I apply for PGWP right now? My wife's work permit will be extended as per the expiry of my study permit. So, I'm not sure what happens if I apply for PGWP before she gets a decision from IRCC. I would be grateful if anyone could share their knowledge or experience.

You can apply your pgwp. Once approved, and you have qualified job for your spouse sowp, then she can apply to extend. If she doesnt do anything, they will extend until end of your study permit provided it is still valid. if they touch her application when your study permit is expired, they will refuse.
