Oath Ceremony on 20th Sep -Planned trip to US on 26th Sep

Hi Guys ,
Is it possible to obtain citizen cert and passport within the time line . keeping in mind 24/25 sat sun. Or should i change the flight date.

There was a case reported here of 'oath to passport' in 72 hours or something similar. That was certainly an outlier and not the norm. On an average it takes between 7-14 days to receive your certificate and then at least a day to get your passport. So plan accordingly.

We have our Citizenship ceremony on Sep 13 and were supposed to travel on Sep 18-30 to the US...
I requested SCR office to schedule the ceremony earlier. They said No... They said I can request them to postpone the ceremony instead... I told them No..

In the end, we had to cancel our travel plans unfortunately.

Just recieved the email, Its an in person ceremony by video . Guess it means the judge will be on the video but we have to go to the centre. They will hand out the certificate then and there.
