The fall term will begin on 6th of this month.
Submitted my application on 5th July
Biometrics on 18th
Uploaded same day
No update till now
I've been checking my status but no update.
Is it possible to know exactly my application status?

You left it very late for the fall term. If your application has not started “eligibility review” then you stil have a way to go. Do you have to do medicals? As for knowing status, you could order GCMS but it takes months. Consider deferring.

How will i know if my application has started "eligibility review"? Yet to get a go ahead for medicals. Im considering deferring to Winter term that's January but do i need to make a fresh application for study permit or just update to IRCC the deferment acceptance letter from the school?

Just update through webform with new LOA. If you have done medicals, you still have a ways to go. When you log in you should know if review has started since you know biometrics were received.
