Requesting update on Canada tourist visa application from USA

Hi everyone,
I am creating this thread to request everyone to update their Canada TRV application from USA.
Here is my timeline:

Application submitted: June 23 (using old portal)
Biometric: July 8
Application from: USA

After that I don’t see any update in my account. It’s been 49 days and still no update. Please share your updates. Do you think it’s right to apply again in new portal as the processing time crossed by around 2 weeks. If I apply in new portal would it be faster? In that case what would happen with the old application? Please let me know.

Posted processing times are only estimates and are often not accurate because they are averages. Many are processed faster but others are much longer.
