In a few weeks, my wife's aunt is coming to visit us in Canada, and we were hoping to drive her down to Buffalo, NY for a day or two.
The problem is as she is a Brazilian national, she is required to have a Temporary Resident Visa, but she also qualified for the eTA exemption for brazilians, which she successfully obtained.
She does have a valid US visa, so I know we would have no problems crossing the border over to US. But on the way back to Canada, I don't know if she would be allowed back in.
I do recall doing some research on this a long time ago, and afair, this was possible because what mattered was the first point of entry, which in this case will be in an airport.
Does anyone have an experience in this matter?
