Hi everyone, my husband SIN expired 2 days ago but he became a PR July 2021 what should we do to resolve this quickly? Is he going to get in trouble? I knew it would expired but I was sure end of August and I just looked. Thanks so much.

You'll need to just walk into a Service Canada and show them your PR card or COPR and they will give ya'll a new SIN that starts with a 5 that one does not expire, it can be done the same day.
or you can apply for a SIN renewal online. https://www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/services/sin/apply.html#gc-document-nav

Also ensure your employer has your new SIN also no you do not get into trouble just get a new sin ASAP

Good Luck

Just go to any Service Canada with PR Card or eCOPR and carry any address proof like driving license, photo ID or health card. Fill up the form in the Service Canada and submit it.
Or you can do it online.
