Please comment from your experience or knowledge, if a person gets high bp in medical assessment due to momentary stress and sleeplessness (like 190/95), though at home at ease his bp is normally 130/80 or 135/85 occasionally there are spikes like 190/95 which subside in 15 min. What do you think will he get furtherance. He is taking bp medication from 10 years and pre diabetic. Regards and thanks in advance.

I think it's going to be hard for any of us to say since it depends on the overall health of the applicant. However a temporary reading of 190/95 is not due to stress / lack of sleep. It's due to an underlying medical condition. Especially if that person is already on bp medication.

Thanks@scylla for prompt reply, will consult my family physician and i think there is no underlying condition but bp medication i am taking is very mild norvasc 5mg, i might be needing high dose of 10mg or cocktail of two medication. My serum creatinine is fine and heart size in chest xray also fine (these are my own reports, from ircc they will be available after 5 days)
Should i consult my personal cardiologist and start medication right away or wait for furtherance. One more question, do they include serum creatinine in initial blood work for standard test for person >15 Best regards and thanks

There has to be an underlying condition or some cause if you are getting readings of 190/95. This is way above normal. It may be the fact you are pre-diabetes. Hypertension is very common in those with diabetes or pre-diabetes. It's ultimately your call of course. However if I was getting readings that high, I would personally visit my personal physician to get a full checkout and get my meds adjusted if needed.

What is your question? "furtheerance" of what type of application?

If you are being sponsored by your new spouse, then you will not be inadmissable because of your medical condition.

If you are parent/grandparent being sponsored by your child, then it depends. (as noted the underlying condition needed to be accessed for the medical check)

If you are applying for PR yourself, the same applied. You may or may not be affect from excessive demand of medical.
