Hi,
I am working full-time under NOC A type. my PGWP expired on May 2022, but I submitted a closed work permit application before my PGWP expired.
And I have been working until now, around 3 month. And my closed work permit is still in progress, and I have no idea of how long it will take.
I believe I am in the implied status while working.

Can I know whether the work time is counted during the implied status?
From May to Aug, I am working for 3 months. These 3 months are counted into working time for CEC?

Much appreciated!!!

It will count as long as your work permit is ultimately approved.

Thank you for the help.

Got it. Hopefully it will be approved soon. It has been 3 months already.
How about the new PGWP policy? I submitted it as well recently, and I restore my status.
Is it counted under PGWP's new policy? If this PGWP extension approves, my time is counted as well?

Thank you!

I’m a CEC applicant but while creating my express entry profile, there is a Mandatory field under “family” section where it asks how much money are you bringing to Canada.
My question is do we enter zero in that field because CEC applicants don’t need to show proof of funds or else what do I enter in it as I cannot leave it empty.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have worked in a full time job but my hours are irregular like 20 hrs per week sometimes and upto 40 hrs some week. How do I calculate in this case? This is just 1 job which is full time and I have completed 1 yr now and earned 1100 hrs approx. in total now. Clarify pls.

1 - Every week you worked 30 hours or more you count this as one single week of work experience.
2 - For all of the weeks where you worked less than 30 hours, you need to add up the total number of hours and then divide by 30.

If 1 + 2 = 52 or more then you can claim one year of work experience.

This is how you MUST calculate it. This is how IRCC calculates your work experience.
