Outland online, applied on May 7, 2022. Got an email from IRCC today saying the application has been received and it also has a file number in it. Am not sure if this an AOR or not. But happy to hear from them and finally get an application number.

Is it normal that you haven't recieved the confirmation letter (AOR) in a month?

Current timeline for AOR is between 80 to 100 days from the day of application submission. If you applied end of July, then expect to receive an AOR by 1st week of November.

According to my lawyer.. short holidays are ok.. but staying outside Canada for more then 2-3 weeks can cause in rejection.

I'm just curious as to why someone cannot travel if they have an application? I don't see why it would affect an application
